Job Title: Human Resource & Payroll Generalist/AP Clerk
Department: Accounting
Responsibility: Human Resource, Payroll, assist with A/P, and general accounting functions
Reports to Controller
We are a successful and growing Tucson based manufacturing company seeking an experienced Human Resource & Payroll Generalist/AP Clerk. TM International is a global leader in the design and printing of custom, specialty, and novelty products. Position Summary:
TMI is seeking an experienced individual to assist with all aspects of Human Resources and payroll. This includes, but is not limited to: benefits administration, employee relations, onboarding, recruitment/employment, preparing and processing payroll, assisting with accounts payable and general accounting functions.
Essential Job Functions:
• Conduct benefits enrollment for new employees.
• Perform benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting and communicating benefit information to employees.
• Reconcile the benefits statements.
• E-verify I-9 documentation.
• Submit online investigation requests for new employee background checks.
• Perform payroll/benefit-related reconciliations to General Ledger and other accounts.
• Files EEO-1 report annually, maintains other records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
• Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
• Compile payroll data such as garnishments, vacation time, insurance, and 401(k) deductions.
• Process bi-weekly payroll using ADP.
• Compile internal management reports from ADP.
• Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to entry.
• Process invoices into computer system.
• Assist in monthly closings.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility:
• This position has no supervisory responsibilities
Requirements:
• Two years Human Resource experience
• Two years of ADP experience
• Detail oriented
• Ability to multi-task , prioritize and work efficiently
• Strong organizational skills
• Communication skills both written and verbal
• Excellent Microsoft Excel and Word Skills
• Ability to work independently, self-starter, energetic
Other Skills/Abilities:
• Critical reasoning skills
• Innovative thinking
• Strong team player
• Strong communication skills
